LINk (Local Involvement Network) Launch Event
LINks are made up of individuals and community groups who work together to improve local services. The job of a LINk is to find out what people like and dislike about local services and work with the people who plan and run them to help make them better.
Link needs to involve the people of Essex & Southend in their work. To get this going they have decided to hold a major launch event to spread far and wide awareness of LINk, engage the people countywide (that means throughout the whole of ECC and SBC), and encourage community involvement in LINk’s activities. This will be followed shortly afterwards by a roadshow of launch events in our five Locality Group areas.
More information: see Local Involvement Networks (LINks) explained,
or go to: www.direct.gov.uk/localinvolvementnetworks
Location: Anglia Ruskin University, Chelmsford.
Time: between 10am and 4pm
