Tools with a Mission (TWAM) is sending a container to Ahkom School, Sierra Leone with equipment such as tools,

The Southend branch of the Huntingdon’s Disease Association is appealing for help to make muddy allotment plots more accessible for people in wheelchairs. It is renting two plots near Southend Airport Retail Park to allow disabled members to grown their own vegetables.

Although a fall may sound trivial, for an older person, it can result in injuries that take months to heal. Around the home, it is fairly easy to take simple steps to reduce the risk of falls. Outside of the house, dangerous pavements and road surfaces create a high risk of falls.
